A complete edge in one box
Larus-1000 is the top of the Larus line: hardened industrial hardware with the entire Strix software platform preinstalled — gateway, analytics, asset twin, computer vision runtime and apps. Ship one box, plug in your sensors and cameras, and you have a deployable edge node with no separate server, no cloud commitment and no integration project.
What you can run on it, out of the box
- Computer vision for flotation. A camera plus a Strix CV app — froth coverage, bubble size distribution, mineralogical proxies — running entirely at the edge, with results streamed to the control room or your DCS.
- Vibration diagnostics. Passer sensors plus the Strix vibro app — bearing fault detection, ISO 10816 zoning, ranked work orders.
- Asset administration shell. A digital twin of the equipment in IEC 63278 / IDTA AAS form, ready to be queried by your MES, CMMS or higher-level platforms.
- Custom apps. Bring your own Python or container — Strix App Runtime gives you sandboxed access to data streams, models and outputs.
When teams pick Larus-1000 over Strix software-only
- Sites with no IT team and no spare server — buy the box, plug it in.
- Air-gapped or sanctioned environments where cloud is impossible and on-prem hardening is required.
- Field sites where shipping a single appliance is operationally simpler than commissioning a software stack.
- Computer-vision and ML workloads that need a local NPU.

Software is identical to a Strix self-hosted install — meaning configurations, dashboards and apps move freely between Larus-1000 and a customer’s own server.
